Formed in 1995, the members of the band 'From Within', Dave Parkinson and Mike Clarke, have been writing music in one way or another for over a decade. Dave concentrating on the guitar work, with Mike pursuing a more technical and vocal role.

With each of the members taking in widely different musically tastes over the last few years, FROM WITHIN have combined their unique writing style with a distinct lack of any obvious musical influences. This has resulted in the originality of the compositions and the whole sound and feel of their music.

While Dave creates riffs and chord sequences, Mike uses his skill for high production value and solid vocals to create a sound much bigger than a simple two-piece formation would usually suggest.
